Structural Steel Forges Ahead as the High School Takes Shape
Earthwork, concrete, masonry, underground utilities, steel, site retaining walls, waterproofing, spray fireproofing, and cold-formed metal framing is ongoing.
Currently prepping first-floor concrete floor deck at the South end of the building. Preparing the West end of the first floor for concrete foundations.
Steel erections are moving along the Southwest end of the building.
Site retaining walls at the South end of the property are ongoing and are approximately five feet away from grade level.
Plumbing/electrical rough-ins are pushing forward, following our concrete foundations and metal deck installations.
Waterproofing follows the ongoing installation of the masonry and concrete walls.
Portions of the steel within the building are currently being sprayed and fireproofed.
Installation of ductwork continues above the ceilings of the new school.
Cold-formed metal framing materials are getting delivered to the jobsite. The interior building layout and wall construction continues.
Roofing preparation begins while the curbs are being built, along with the concrete slab pours, which help support and stabilize the mechanical units.
